LungPoint is a powerful platform for computer-assisted, image-guided bronchoscopic planning and navigation that is intuitive and easy to use. LungPoint provides a map and visual directions through the lung airways to a target such as a lung nodule. The software requires thin slice, high resolution CT images and utilizes off-the-shelf standard computer hardware. Available in January 2011, fiducial planning: LungPoint offers unique tools and images to help plan the placement of lung fiducials for radiation therapy. Fiducial locations are automatically calculated and projection views confirm their separation and visibility when imaged on the treatment system. |
